To illustrate means to illuminate. The prompts in this course will challenge students to engage in storytelling and explore text and imagery relationships while simultaneously honing basic rendering skills. At times the student will be finding images to illuminate, enhance, or subvert the meaning of written language and at other times will be creating language as a result to creating an image. Students will explore various forms of illustration, including drawing, text to image translation, and the art of comic books.  This Creativity Camp workshop will be held June 27 - July 1, 2022 at 9:00 am - 12:00pm each day.
